Adapted from visual environments developed for Phan Anh's 2023 exhibition The Pool, this video work operates as a psychogeographical study of Hoàng Mai, the artist’s birthplace and a fringe district in Hanoi defined by its social complexities and underground economies. The piece visualizes the inherent nihilism and pervasive indifference of the district's daily life, translating localized urban decay and personal memory into a broader meditation on alienation.
